The communication with owner Charles prior to the trip already brought us a sense of ease and comfort. He was knowledgeable, helped us choose destinations, provided exact information about times and places, and made the payment process easy.
Once we got here, we were treated to first-class cars and drivers who did not just arrive on time, but early. The drivers were flexible, friendly, expert and flexible with any/all requests.
I cannot say enough about our positive experiences here! And driving is no easy task in Costa Rica. There are rough roads in places, no shoulders sometimes, and people who rented cars told us of the need to add insurance. Once you are in destinations, getting around is relatively easy, so with service like this available, you can see many destinations hassle free. Not to mention, you can be a spectator, take a nap, and arrive refreshed at your destinations.
I’m not sure if all car & driver experiences in Costa Rica or elsewhere would be this convenient and positive, but I can tell you, as a former travel industry professional, Baqueano Tours is a top-notch operation!
