The driver was very punctual and friendly. Water was provided, the vehicle was very clean. WiFi was also available on board. Small sights that were on the route were announced. You can then decide whether you want to stop or continue.

The Baqueano is an excellent tour company. They had us covered from the moment we arrived at the airport. The driver was waiting, holding a sign with our name, so there was no guess work. All cars for the the duration of the trip were air conditioned and in perfect riding condition. The drivers spoke English well enough to explain details of the day and answer any questions we had. The tours were phenomenal with the deep sea fishing tour winning over my husband’s top spot for the trip. The tour company also recommended a restaurant in town to cook the fish my husband caught. The chef prepared our meal to perfection and we had the best tuna steaks ever. The hiking and hot springs tour was my favorite, everything was arranged for us including a hiking guide to the waterfall. We were given all the time we wanted and since we did a private tour, we didn’t feel rushed by a group or as though we had to stick around longer than we wanted. This was truly a private experience. They picked our family up from the hotel daily and brought us directly back. They brought along extra towels and iced cold drinks. There was a toddler snorkel device and they even brought a car seat for our toddler on the days we were riding in a car opposed to the turismo van. I wasn’t expecting this, so you can imagine it was a pleasant surprise. They thought of everything. The drivers were on time, lighthearted, funny, and very professional. We had a local contact person to reach out to if we needed anything. We only needed to use this number once and were greeted by a happy voice on the first call (turns out our driver was actually waiting on us and we were in the wrong spot, haha). What a wonderful trip. You will not go wrong in choosing The Baqueano for your private itinerary. Don’t be afraid…..book The Baqueano!
Exceptional Costa Rica guided trip

Charles gave us an absolutely exceptional experience of Costa Rica. My family and I went to Costa Rica mainly to see nature. Charles was available to us the entire time. He provided transportation in a comfortable 4x4 car with wi-fi. He made sure we made the best use of our time, facilitated all the activities and provided us with information about his country throughout. He even filmed our experiences (including some amazing drone videos) and at the end of our 14 days travelling around many parts of Costa Rica, he gave us a perfectly edited video. Their service is of a high professional standard and will satisfy the expectations of the most demanding clients. I dare to write here that we became friends during the trip. The next time we visit Costa Rica we will definitely travel with his company again. Thank you Charles and his team! We recommend!

We never had to worry as we were in great hands with Charles. Charles stopped and showed us animals, he also took us to a Water Fall hike that we did not know about. Had the best experience going from Peninsula to San Jose and back in one day! The loveliest driver Ronny who helped me with everything in San Jose when my passport got stolen and I had to arrange with a new one. He took me and my friends to fix everything I had to have for the new one and after took us to a breathtaking restaurant with the most stunning view. We felt really safe and we didn’t have to worry about finding the consulate, a photoplace or getting to the ferry in time… everything was arranged. So thankful for everything!!
