Amazing, Fun and All Level Friendly

I had a blast riding with Carlos my guide. This ride covered a lot of different terrain and I got to see a variety of scenery. Carlos was very friendly and I enjoyed talking and learning about Costa Rica and its customs. My horse was very calm but not a dead head (like so many horses get from being used as commercial trail horses) so the riding part was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this tour to all who want to see Costa Rica from horse back. One negative thing, they should invest some time in horse care and grooming, my horses ears and head was covered in ticks and scrapes. She was very sweet and calm but I don't think she was very comfortable which made it hard for me to really enjoy the ride because I was worried about her. So it would be nice if they invested some money in fly masks, insect repellent and ear covers to protect their horses faces and bodies. Other than that it was a great time!
Different but well worth it

It was a great experience! It was very different because you are literally riding horses through the rainforest but the guides were so great and helpful for me and my friends. We had a private tour because it was just us. We weren’t appropriately dressed when we arrived but they directed us to a store to get boots and sneakers.
Combo Adventure w/ Horseback and Rappeling

We did the Combo Adventure with Horseback Riding and Rappeling, finishing off with a most delicious lunch in their restaurant. My husband and I were the only two in the "group" so we were blessed to have a private ride. The horses were magnificent; Carlos was professional and friendly; we enjoyed our ride though the terrain, cantering through the prairie and walking through the neighborhood. We had a nice lengthy ride.
Upon completion, we rappelled down a cliff, then climbing back up the path. We took our time but were able to get five rounds in.
The lunch was overly delicious, much grander than expected. This was a highlight of our trip and will certainly be back next year!
