Costa Rica - multiple transfers

We used Ride CR for three different transfers in Costa Rica. Once from SJ airport to Arenal. Then from Arenal to Monteverde and finally from Monteverde to SJ Airport. For all three rides, we got a reasonable quote from the company. They are very responsive on Whatsapp. The drivers showed up on time, were able to speak reasonable English. In the first ride from airport to Arenal, we landed at 8 am in the morning. He stopped on the way for breakfast, spotted a sloth on the way and stopped for us to take pictures there and also had wifi connection in the car for us. It was impressive. From Arenal to Monteverde we did a land-boat-land transfer. The person in the boat also spotted many birds along the lake while cruising to the other side. Overall we had a very pleasant experience with them. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend this service enough, especially with our driver Jorge. He waited for us outside the airport for over two hours as we were stuck in line for customs. As soon as we got out, he got us loaded up and let us know how long the trip would take (just about 2.5 - 3 hours depending on traffic).

There are a lot of winding roads in Costa Rica which I was not used to. Jorge was super understanding and stopped without question to let me relieve my nausea. He told me to take my time, and that I can move up to the front to see if that helps, and throughout the rest of the ride, he accommodated me as best as possible to ensure that I was feeling ok. So, so worth the price. Thank you, Jorge!

Wouldn’t recommend any other private transport service. Not only did they communicate effectively to confirm pick up location and time, but he was very friendly, punctual and had great recommendations along they way. The van was extremely comfortable and we also stopped at a butterfly, hummingbird and orchid garden along the way making it a great beginning to our vacation. 10/10

Exceptional transportation to LA Fortuna

10/10 would recommend this as a way to get from the airport to LA Fortuna our driver Oscar was awesome and accommodating he even recommended a place on the way to stop for a drink and food which was so yummy we loved ridecr so much we booked them for our transportation back to san jose

Our driver Freddy was there waiting for us as soon as we exited the airport doors. He explained the plan for our journey before we departed. He gave us the option to make a rest stop along the way, but once we reached the area we decided to just power through, which was not a problem. Freddy drove smoothly through the windy roads and heavy rain, and we were comfortable enough to sleep through most of the ride. He was super friendly and made sure we arrived at our destination safely. He even gave us some great local food recommendations. Thanks, Freddy and RideCR for the excellent service!
