Jardins da Cachoeira de La Paz

Sarapiqui River
After enjoying La Paz Waterfall Gardens we will go to the Caribbean area to visit the famous Sarapiqui River that crosses a variety of environments: humid tropical forests, mountains, pastures and more. The river is popular with rafters, who come to ride their rapids, but it also has quieter sections that are perfect for safari-style floats. This tour is a relaxed boat trip to explore the vibrant river ecosystem. As your boat sails downstream, be attentive to wildlife in the water and on land. You may be able to see monkeys, iguanas, sloths, crocodiles, lizards, otters and a wide variety of bird species. Your guides will help you detect animals and explain the ecological importance of the surrounding area. This tour lasts two hours and takes place in a comfortable and modern boat. The boat has a special engine designed to minimize the impact on the environment.

If you want to see all kinds of animals this is definitely the best tour to go on. The park/ refuge was beautiful, nice meal, the river cruise was soo relaxing. We also saw beautiful waterfalls. I'm most appreciative of our tour guide Will! He was informative the whooole time. He was kind, helpful, and made sure we had a very nice time. Thanks Will!
A day in the heart of Costa Rica

This was the best!
Touring Costa Rica via this itinerary was excellent. The tour took us through GORGEOUS mountainous landscapes, by wonderful landmarks off the beaten path, and ultimately to the La Paz Waterfall gardens.
The waterfalls were incredible, and I was impressed with the animal rescue center. And we had lunch at the restaurant, which was superb.
But the best part of the tour was our guide, Oscar. He was so knowledgable, kind and fun. We learned so much about the area, and his love and passion for his country makes him the perfect tour guide.
We are so very fortunate to have gone through Destiny Travel - this company has heart and soul, and good people working for them.

Dy trip to the falls

I compared many companies before choosing Destiny Travel. When I went to book the trip through Expedia it was full for the day we needed, but I went on the Destiny Travel website and it was open after all. So glad we booked directly via email!
Oldemar got back to me immediately and was very gracious and helpful, and apparently setting things up for the trip in the wee hours of the morning.
Our tour guide Oscar was amazing! We had so much fun with him, it definitely made a big difference in the experience.

Our guide was Arturo and he was a very nice fellow. He was very accomodating to our needs, since my husband and I were the only ones on the tour.
It was a national holiday, so it worked out perfect for us, since we had no traffic leaving the city.
The Waterfall gardens is an incredible place. It is a must see place!
Arturo guide us through the place. He had a lot of knowledge about the animals and plants. Very calm and sweet person.
We were able to spend really a long time at this place and see the Sloth in action.
If you want to go to the river, this a a much better tour than the one with the Irazu volcano.

Sitio perfecto xq limitan el aforo. Y encima en San fermin. La seguridad era perfecta , supermajos y muy guapos, nos sentimos muy agosto. La música un 10. Perfecto si eres mujer y te quieres sentir segura sin baberos alrededor.
